The StarZone Podcast

Patty Spagnuolo is the Director of the Transfer Center at Lansing Community College. With 30+ years of experience at LCC, Patty has been involved in many aspects of the College. As a first-generation college student, school is her passion. She holds an Associate in Business from LCC, a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership both from Northwood University.

An advocate for education, Patty is concerned about the perception of higher education, especially among today’s youth. She serves on the board for the Capital Area College Access Network, and for the Coalition for College and Career Readiness, she also participates in various LCC advisory councils and work groups.

In all things, her family is a priority, she raised three boys, Matthew, Jonathon and William, and now has five wonderful grandchildren. Other interests include taking walks with Archer - her yellow lab, gardening, yoga, swimming, reading and writing.

The StarZone is an actual place - it's LCC's student services hub and home to many student service departments such as admissions, academic advising, financial aid, student finance, testing and more! The StarZone is physically located in the Gannon Building on the Downtown Campus. Stop by and speak with an Enrollment Support Specialist (ESS) for help with admissions, class registration, and general financial aid questions.
